What does "dedicated attorney" actually mean? +
It means one specific licensed attorney at Zova Law is assigned to your account — not a rotating pool of reviewers. Your attorney learns your business, your standard contracts, your risk profile, and your deal history. When something comes in, they already have context. You're not re-explaining your business every time.
What happens if I use more than 10 hours in a month? +
If your needs exceed 10 hours in a given month, additional hours are billed at a discounted hourly rate — well below the $550/hr traditional firm rate. Your dedicated attorney will flag in advance when you're approaching your monthly allocation so there are no surprises. Unused hours up to 4 roll over to the following month.
What is the cancellation policy? +
The Fractional GC Subscription requires a 3-month minimum commitment, billed monthly at $2,500/month. After your initial 3-month term, you may cancel before your next billing date with no penalties or fees. We are transparent about this upfront — the subscription is designed to build a meaningful, ongoing legal relationship, which takes time to deliver properly.
What is not included in the Fractional GC Subscription? +
The following are not included in the flat monthly rate and are either billed separately or outside the scope of the subscription entirely: (1) Third-party filing fees — state filing fees, USPTO trademark and patent fees, registered agent fees, and any other government or third-party costs are billed separately at cost with no markup. (2) Hours in excess of 10 per month — if your needs exceed your monthly allocation, additional hours are available at a negotiated rate; your attorney will flag this before you exceed your limit. (3) Trademark registration and prosecution — trademark search, application filing, USPTO correspondence, and the trademark registration process are traditional legal services billed separately outside the scope of this subscription; your dedicated attorney can advise on trademark strategy within your monthly hours, but the filing work itself is a separate engagement. (4) Litigation and court appearances — the subscription covers transactional and advisory legal work; active litigation, court filings, and dispute representation are outside its scope and would require a separate engagement.
